She is 4 friggin' months old already!

It seemed like it took our little Chloe forever to get here and its hard to believe that she is already 4 months old! Every day with her is an absolute joy and a blessing! I am back at work now which totally breaks my heart to leave her but she is in perfect hands with her daddy, whom she absolutely adores. I have taken a gazillion pictures of her. Costco is making bank on us and all of our pictures we are developing! I am not sure why some of my picures went sideways but Chloe is adorable no matter which way you look at her.

Happy Duvall Bunch

I was a little tired from being up all night...can ya tell? That and the pain meds sure made me a little loopy! However, I didn't want to miss one second of this glorious and most anticipated day! By about 4 o'clock my body took over. I got a temperature of 103 and the nurse had to send all my visitors home so I could get some sleep and so they could figure out what was going on with me! My fever finally broke at about ten that night. It was not fun. I wanted everyone to come and see our little angel but my body had had enough fun and excitement, I think, and was telling me to cool it. The stuffed dog in the picture is from Grandma Lisa to Chloe. She gets her grandkids a stuffed animal when she comes and visits them in the hospital for the first time. It was also representing our two other kids, dogs to some people, who were home anxiously awaiting our arrival.

Riley has been an amazing husband through the whole pregnancy! Holding my hair back while I threw up, getting me coke and crackers each morning, helping me through my emotional days, cleaning, and totally remodeled the house to get ready for our little one! I couldn't ask for a better husband! Not to mention he is freaking fine! He was an angel during labor! He gave me all the ice chips I wanted! He held my hand during all the contractions and tried to make me laugh so that I would somewhat forget about the pain...it did help! He was a great coach through all the pushing, I pushed for about an hour and a half because my contractions were so irregular! Then when I saw him hold his baby girl for the first time, my heart melted! The love he had in his eyes for her was indescribable and I felt so blessed that I was able to go through all this for us! He is absolutely adorable with her and when he holds her it seems as if they are in their own world! He said that she is the the best thing that we have every done next to getting married in the temple! If that doesn't make you teary eyed, what does?

CHLOE DUVALL Born on Feb. 20, 2009 @ 4:47 am...5 days early! Even though the doctors kept saying that I would be about a week late, Chloe and I showed them that we had an agenda of our own! She weighed 6 pounds .07 ounces and was 18 inches long. She is healthy and perfect in every way! We couldn't be more blessed!

Sorry for the delay!

It has been so so so long since I have posted anything! After we found out that I was pregnant I found myself totally consumed with doing things to get ready for the baby! We can't believe our little angel is finally here! It feels like a dream to us! We have waited so long for her but she was well worth the wait! I am still on cloud nine but I think I have my feet enough on the ground that I will be better at updating our blog! Plus, we have the cutest little peanut to show off!

FINALLY!

We have some bad news... Our trip that we have been preparing for to go to Disneyland and run in the 1/2 Marathon has been cancelled. The doctor told me that I should avoid heavy running for the next 33 weeks. I don't think the baby would like the rides as much as I would anyway. Instead we thought we would take the little one for its first Christmas next year. Thats right. I am finally pregnant. Finally. We are just fine with not going to Disneyland. This is the year of a million dreams at Disneyland and ours came true already! We couldn't be more excited! We aren't sure how I got pregnant, well, we know how, but with all that we have been through all ready and all that we have been preparing to go through, this is an absolute blessing! Nala and Max are excited for a new sibling, too! Nala has been comforting me with all of my morning sickness. She will sit in the bathroom with me and gives me support as I...ya know. Riley is excited for all the red meat I get to eat because that means all the more steak for him! I am seven weeks today. My due date is Feb. 25th. I am not very far along but we couldnt' wait to share the news!
